Martin Bros. Named 2024 Cedar Valley Employer of Choice

Martin Bros. was proudly named a 2024 Cedar Valley Employer of Choice, announced by the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier on Saturday, September 28 in a special section recognizing all 2024 recipients.

This award is especially meaningful as it is awarded to businesses who were nominated by their own employees.

“I believe that one of the many things that sets us apart is our dual commitment to employee as well as customer success,” commented Brooks Martin, Martin Bros. President and Chief Operating Officer.

Martin Bros. invests in employee development programs, prioritizes work-life balance as well as health and wellness and takes great pride in its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ESOP makes every full-time employee an owner of the company.

Employees are recognized in a variety of ways for their contributions to the organization. The crown jewel of achievements within Martin Bros. is the 25 Year Anniversary Wall. Once an employee reaches their 25th year of service, their name is added to the coveted wall, located in two of the main Martin Bros. buildings on campus. As of September 2024, since the company’s start in 1940, 109 employees have achieved this milestone – having worked within the company for a quarter of a century – and it continues to grow as names are added throughout each year.
