Syhlman Brothers from Martin Bros. Named to IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Matt Syhlman and Chad Syhlman, both employees of Martin Bros. Distributing Co., Inc., and two of 87 inductees to the 2023 class of the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Truck Driver Hall of Fame.

The IFDA Hall of Fame casts a spotlight on the industry’s top drivers for their outstanding records of service and safety. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, drivers must have at least 25 years with no chargeable accidents and may not have any moving violations within the previous five years prior to nomination.

The 2023 class is the largest in IFDA’s history. It includes drivers from 13 companies and the first female inductee in the history of IFDA’s Truck Driver Hall of Fame.

“It’s an honor to recognize these hardworking professionals who play a vital role in our economy and way of life,” said Mark S. Allen, President and CEO of IFDA.

The inaugural class was honored at the IFDA Solutions Conference in September in Fort Worth, Texas.
